A REPORT into the failed housing stock transfer will be heard by councillors at a meeting of the Castle Point cabinet tonight.
The report will look at why council tenants voted against transferring the ownership and management of their homes to Swallow Housing Association in a ballot earlier this year.
It will also make suggestions about what the council should do next to make sure it meets Government targets to bring all of its homes up to standard by 2010.
The public are welcome to attend the meeting at the council offices on Kiln Road, Thundersley, which starts at 7.30pm.
Councillors will also hear reports into CCTV provision within the borough and be asked to approve the Castle Point Regeneration Framework, which sets out how the area can be developed in the future.
