THE final piece of Basildon's £5million super nightclub is in place.
Liquid and Envy, the latest addition to Bas Vegas's Festival Leisure Park, will open to clubbers on Friday.
The two clubs, which replaced Lava and Ignite, are the centre piece of the new complex, which will become the biggest club in the south of England.
Liquid and Envy will add to New York New York, which opened in March, and existing club JJ's, to create a super club with a capacity of 3,471.
Darren Guyon, manager of the clubs, said: "This makes us the biggest club in the south of England and without a doubt the biggest club in Essex.
"I think we beat our nearest competitor by a capacity of 2,000."
The new clubs come complete with a VIP bar, private pods and exclusive booths, as well as state-of-the-art light and sound systems to create the ultimate clubbing experience.
The three pods, which feature in Liquid, offer waitress service plus champagne and taxi rides to and from the site.
Ranging in price, from £300 to £600 per group, they are perfect for birthday parties and special events, according to Mr Guyon.
Envy, which will play mainly urban music, is equipped with nine booths, which for £15 per person, includes entry, a free round of drinks, and free service.
Mr Guyon added: "Finally we have something that is going to give customers a new experience instead of the same boring night out.
"It has taken us years of hard work to get here and I hope when people see it they will be just as excited as I am.
"This will put Basildon and the Festival Leisure Park on the map again."
