STUDENTS got a taste of the working world at a careers fair.
It was held at Palmer's College, Chadwell Road, Grays yesterday, and featured 27 local and national employers.
Among the firms at the event were Ford and Rowland Hall Accountants as well as national employers the NHS and the Crown Prosecution Service.
Head of careers at the college, Judith Barras, said: "This is the second year we've run the careers fair.
"We've been speaking to the students and a comment they keep coming up with is it helps give them ideas about their future.
"They get an opportunity to talk to organisations about what they offer in terms of their careers."
