A HEALTH trust which serves people with mental and learning disabilities has recieved top marks in an inspection.
South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust scored excellent in all five categories of the latest Patient Environment Action Team inspection.
Areas under assessment included the cleanliness of the trust's toilet and bathrooms, infection control and food, as well as the privacy and dignity provided to patients.
The trust was assessed at Thurrock Community Hospital in Grays and the Mental Health Unit at Basildon Hospital, as well as Runwell Hospital, Rochford Hospital and Byron Court in Billericay.
