THE pitter patter of tiny, medium sized and even huge paws is set to ring out over Langdon Hills Country Park this weekend as walkers and their dogs get set to lap up cash for St Luke's Hospice.
The park will be packed out with pooches joining in the St Luke's Hospice sponsored dog walk event on Sunday.
The Basildon-based hospice holds a sponsored walk every year. This year organisers decided to liven up the event by inviting walkers to bring along their waggily tailed companions.
Jo Brown, fundraiser from the hospice, in Nether Mayne, said: "It's going to be a great day and we're hoping plenty of owners will bring along their dogs and take part."
Anyone wanting to take part should meet at the park's Westley Heights entrance in Laindon at 10am.
