CHILDREN at a Catholic primary school have been praised in a Government inspection report for their exemplary behaviour.
The Government watchdog commended the attitude at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and Nursery in Windermere Road, Southend, and rated it as a good and improving school with some outstanding features.
Headteacher Bridget Frampton said: "We are particularly please because they picked up on the ethos of the school, that's very important to us.
"The children know their expectations and they mentioned the exemplary behaviour of the children. They also said although we are a good school we are working towards being outstanding. the governors and the staff are working very hard."
The report said topics were dealt with in such a way, children do not even realise the progress they are making.
