A SPECIAL school is set to get a makeover of its karaoke room and other facilities for disabled children.
The Kingsdown School, in Snakes Lane, Southend, is carrying out five projects with the help of Royal Bank of Scotland.
The bank's credit card centre in Westcliff is loaning 43 staff for a day to help refurbish the school's karaoke room, games room, playground, sensory garden, and seniors' common room.
The company has donated £2,500 towards the project.
Jackie West, office manager at the school, said the karaoke room was particularly popular with the children and needed sprucing up. She said: "We've got a complete karaoke system and we all take it in turns, staff as well."
