A TEACHER has made it to the final three to become a presenter on GMTV - and wants Echo readers to vote for him today.
Alan Mechem, 26, of Fleet Road, Benfleet, has been appearing live every morning this week for the competition.
Today people will be able to vote online to help see him through to the final two.
Alan, who teaches media studies, drama and English at King John school, Thundersley, said: "It has been a great experience.
"I have filmed a documentary about a lizard at London Zoo and have met famous people."
During his time at the GMTV studios in London, Alan has met David Cameron, Myleene Klass and Melanie Sykes.
He said: "The last few days have gone really well.
"Everybody I have met has been lovely."
