MEDIA students got the chance to try their hand at broadcasting as part of their latest project.
A group of pupils from Chalvedon School, Basildon, spent a week at the studios of community radio station, Gateway FM, as part of their BTEC Media course.
The six Year 10 students learned about the different aspects of broadcasting during their spell at Gateway.
The week culminated in a presentation of their work to an audience including school principal Alan Roach and the general manager of Basildon's Eastgate Centre, Hans Wustefeld.
After the presentation at the Gateway FM studios in Southernhay, Basildon, Mr Roach said: "The students are a real credit to the school and we congratulate them."
