A SCHOOL which won a contest to encourage youngsters to cycle to school was treated to a display of bike stunts yesterday.
St Helen's Catholic Primary School, Westcliff, won Southend Council's bike to school week which challenged primary schools to get as many pupils as possible riding to school for a week.
The school achieved 300 journeys and was rewarded with a display of tricks by extreme mountain bike rider, Rich Johnson.
Deputy headteacher Maggie Jones said: "St Helen's has always been a healthy school. We believe regular exercise is another way we can help children become even more active learners."
