A LOCAL beauty took the catwalk by storm at Alternative Fashion Week.
Katie Holt, 17, of Premier Avenue, Grays, took part in the show at Spitalfields Traders Market, London.
The former Hassenbrook School pupil said: "Alternative Fashion Week is going really, really well and I get such an adrenaline rush from walking down the catwalk.
"One day I would love to model for Vivienne Westwood. I love fashion."
Beau-Bellemodels director Jayde Soper, 40, added: "This is the third year my models have taken part and the models absolutely love it.
"It makes me proud to see them on the runway.
"I feel like a mum to all of them."
Alternative Fashion Week, held last week at Spitalfields Traders Market, London, supports new talent and aims to be a fashion show that is more approachable and affordable.
