TWO people have been charged with a number of offences following a fatal road accident in south west Essex.
In July 2007 a VW Van and a motorcyle collided at Stifford on the London bound carriageway of the A13.
Motorcyle rider Stephen Fielder, 53, of Garden Fields, Steeple was certified dead at the scene of the collision.
Later the same day a man, 28, from Plaistow and a woman, 25, from Grays were arrested.
The man who is now 29 faces three charges, aggravated vehicle taking which resulted in a death, driving with no insurance and failing to stop after an accident.
The woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Both have been bailed to appear before Grays Magistrates Court on Thursday May 8.
