Geri at Lakeside
SPICE girl Geri Halliwell received a shock when she became trapped in a lift at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
The star had been promoting her new children's book in WH Smith when the lift stopped and she had to be rescued by a team of firefighters from Grays.
The singer became stuck at 3.15pm today in the instore lift along with five security guards.
She said a quick thank you before rushing off to sign copies of her new book, Ugenia Lavender, for her fans.
