PUPILS of St George’s Catholic Primary School in Shoebury celebrated their saint’s day.
The school walked to St George’s parish church, in Ness Road, in the morning for a special Mass, whilst the afternoon was spent learning about St George through fun activities. One of these was to make a human St George cross in the school playground.
Headteacher Paul Parascandolo said: “St George’s Day is a very important day for our children, who are very proud of their school and the fact they share their patron saint with the rest of the country.”
