A DIGGER was burnt out on the field of a Canvey secondary school.
Arsonists torched the high-value digger at Corneius Vemuyden School, in Third Avenue, between 10pm and 10.20pm on Friday, October 29.
PC Adam Hall, of Canvey police, said: “We have been investigating the fire and we are treating it as Arson. I would like to speak to anybody who saw any activity on Third Avenue on the evening of Friday, October 29. I would also appeal to anybody who has information about who started the fire to get in touch.”
