TWO GOOD samaritans are being sought after they helped a rape victim who had been tied up and left in the boot of a car.

The 24-year-old victim had been in Finsbury Park, north London, when three men forced her into a car.

She was driven to Southend where she was raped at an unknown address.

Her attackers left her in a car boot but luckily two people heard her cries for help.

They helped released her before driving her to Edmonton Green Railway Station, in north London, at her request.

Detectives have spent a year investigating the crime which happened on September 6, 2009 but have come up with no leads.

They are now hoping to trace the witnesses who drove green Vauxhall Astra.
