The female driver of a Ferrari has been rushed to hospital following a crash in Wickford.
Her yellow sports car collided with a silver Peugeot 206 at the junction of London Road and High Street at 6.15am today (Mon31).
Fire crews helped remove the woman from her car and she was taken by ambulance to Basildon Hospital, where her injuries were described as non-life threatening.
High Street was closed while accident investigation work took place, but was reopened at midday.
