POLICE have seized a mini moto which was being used to cause a nuisance in Southchurch.
Officers had received a string of complaints about the bike being misused in Newington Avenue and the surrounding streets.
At one point it was even being ridden on the pavement.
The issue was investigated by Southend police's cycle team who tracked down the culprit.
The 14-year-old boy then had the bike seized under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act because the rider had no licence or insurance.
It was taken by a recovery company to a local depot in Basildon.
