RAIL operator c2c is top of the punctuality table for the fourth month in a row.

The rail operator, which runs trains from London Fenchurch Street to Shoebury, is celebrating after another four-week period of topping the rail industry with performance times.

Figures released today show 97.5 per cent of c2c’s trains ran to time in May.

c2c was also the best performing operator in February, March and April.

Julian Drury, c2c managing director, said: “The c2c team continue to push the boundaries in delivering high standards of train service punctuality.”
