THIS man is suspected of robbing a 16-year-old boy in an alley near Westcliff railway station. The young victim was threatened in an alleyway leading from the station up to Hamlet Court Road. Frightened for his safety, he handed his mobile phone over to the robber. It happened at about 4pm on Wednesday May 25. The suspect is described as 5ft 10ins tall and of heavy build. Anyone who recognises the man captured on CCTV is asked to contact PC Emma Ridgwell at Southend police station on 0300 333 4444.
