PREPARATIONS are hotting up for the family event of the summer.
For the first time, the Essex Spectacular will take place at the Barleylands Showground in Barleylands Road, Billericay, on the weekend of August 6 and 7.

As well as the Essex International Balloon Festival – which will see hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes on show and taking part in a synchronised display – the Essex Spectacular will also have zones for visitors, including a motor show, food village, lifestyle and home exhibition areas, as well as the Partyman kid zone.
The zones will offer plenty for everyone at the show which is set to attract 25,000 visitors.
Part of the food village includes a TV Taste Theatre boasting a daily programme of celebrity chefs, presenting onstage demonstrations.
