A MAN had a knife held to his throat in a terrifying street robbery.
The 36-year-old was walking along Wimborne Road, Southend, shortly before midnight last Wednesday, June 15, when two men approached him and tried to talk to him.
He ignored them and kept walking, but as he passed the car park to the Co-op store in Guildford Road he felt a hand on his back and a knife was held to his throat.
The victim was searched and had around £40 taken from his pocket before he managed to run away.
Both suspects are black, one is described as in his mid-20s, around 6ft tall, with very short black hair.
He wore a white t-shirt, a black leathery-type jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.
