FOUR men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail.
The men were arrested in the wake of Rayleigh man Reece Lamude dying in Southend town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The father-of-two died after trouble outside Churchills bar in Tylers Avenue.
It is believed the four men arrested were working as door staff in the town.
A post mortem showed the 37-year-old died of neck injuries despite efforts from medics, and staff at Southend Hospital, to save him.
Court hearings on Monday and yesterday gave police more time to quiz the suspects and they were released on bail early this morning.
Three of the men, aged 41, 31 and 37, have been bailed until September 7 while enquiries continue.
Another man, aged 31, has been bailed until July 1.
Anyone with information should call police on 0300 3334444.
