POLICE seized three stolen cars during a raid on an industrial estate.
The vehicles, worth a total of £35,000, were recovered from Moorlands Industrial Estate, Tileworks Lane, Rettendon, Wickford, during a joint police, customs, DVLA, VOSA and Environment Agency operation codenamed Mulan, which is targeting the controversial site with past links to organised crime.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Police carried out one in a series of continuing operations on the Moorlands estate on Wednesday. Three stolen vehicles were recovered and a number of fixed penalty notices issued for vehicles having no business use insurance, or with insecure loads or other vehicle offences."
