THE driver of an Aston Martin has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving following a four vehicle collision in Ballards Gore, Stambridge.
Shortly after 3pm Saturday a motorbike with a pillion passenger, a cyclist, the Aston Martin and a Ford Fiesta were involved in a collision near the junction of Stambridge Road.
The 26-year-old motor bike rider from Canewdon sustained serious but not life threatening injuries to his back and his female passenger from Rochford suffered a broken ankle and leg.
The 47-year-old Aston Martin driver from Hockley has been released on police bail, pending further enquires, until Wednesday, August 10 and Police are now appealing for witnesses.
