THREE people have been arrested on drug and money laundering offences in connection with a massive cannabis factory where a man died.
Officers from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate raided addresses across the south east yesterday morning.
A 31-year-old man from Lincoln and a 35-year-old woman from Luton were arrested in Luton and a 29 -year-old man from Chingford was arrested in Chingford. They were arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis, conspiracy to supply controlled drugs and money laundering.
Vietnamese illegal immigrant Tran Duy Hai, 38, was found dead in the converted industrial units in Redhills Road, South Woodham Ferrers, on December 9.
