Two crashes caused queuing traffic in Canvey and near Sadlers Farm.
A crash involving one car blocked the B1014 Somnes Avenue in Canvey.
The road was closed near the junction with Link Road, following the crash.
The A130 borthbound was closed between Sadlers Farm and the A127, after two heavy goods lorries collided.
