TWO men arrested after allegedly climbing on the Basildon Council offices have been charged.
The men, aged 22 and 29, are currently living at the illegal Dale Farm traveller site.
They are alleged to have climbed on to the council office building in St Martin's Square, Basildon on Tuesday to call for council leader Tony Ball to resign.
The duo will appear in court next month.
