Hundreds of homes and businesses lost phones and broadband for several days following one of the worst cases of cbale theft to hit Essex.
Thieves caused £150,000 damage when more than 1,000 metres of cable were damaged and 300 metres stolen near South Woodham Ferrers at 1.30am on November 8.
Police are appealing for information to help catch the crooks after a series of similar crimes in the area.
Supt Mark Wheeler said: "We want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Burnham Road area in the early hours of November 8."
