TRAVELLERS evicted from Dale Farm will ask judges to rule if they have a right to be rehomed in caravans instead of housing.
John Sheridan, wife Barbara O’Brien, and Mary Flynn, will seek a ruling from the Court of Appeal in London next month.
Their lawyers will argue Basildon Council acted unreasonably in offering only conventional flats or houses as alternative accommodation.
A county court judge ruled in favour of the local authority following a hearing at Southend County Court in October 2010.
Travellers were given permission on Friday to appeal against that ruling.
