A MAN wearing a tiger mask tried to snatch a till from a Southend off licence.
The thief used the disguise when he attempted to grab the til from the counter at Spiritworld, in Southchurch Road.
A brave woman in her thirties, who was working behind the counter, struggled with him for the till.
The crook then fled the store empty-handed at about 8.20pm on Tuesday, November 8.
The suspect was a man about 6ft tall and of medium build. He wore a tiger mask which completely covered his face and he wore a dark hoody with the hood up. He was also wearing dark trousers and gloves.
Anyone with information should call PC Claire Chambers, at Southend police station, on 101.
