A MAN exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl as she walked her dog.
The youngster was in woods at the Common, in Thundersley, when he stepped out in front of her and performed an indecent act.
It happened at about 1.45pm on Saturday, November 12.
The girl managed to run off and phone a friend, who contacted police. Officers attended the scene but could not trace the suspect.
He was described as a white man, about 6ft tall and of broad build. He was in his mid to late thirties with short cropped brown hair. He wore a light grey tracksuit with a black top underneath.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious is asked to contact the investigating officer, PC Laura Farnsworth, at Rayleigh police station, by calling 101.
