A COUPLE were subjected to a road-rage attack in a Southend Street.
A 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were in Southchurch Road, Southend, when the rear windscreen of their VW Golf was smashed.
The driver of a silver Ford Fiesta then got out and punched the Golf driver in the head and face.
He then punched the woman passenger in the mouth.
It happened at about 7.20pm on Monday, November 14.
A male passenger from the Fiesta joined in the assault on the VW driver.
Both Fiesta occupants were young, white men aged in their 20s. The injured man and woman were treated by paramedics but did not need to be taken to hospital.
Police want to speak to the driver of a red VW Polo who stopped and spoke to the injured couple.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any other information is asked to contact police at Southend on 101, where the officer dealing is PC Rob Webber.
