FIREFIGHTERS rescued three people from a house fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
Crews from Leigh and Southend were called out to Fairmead Avenue, Westcliff, shortly after 4am to reports of a fire in a house.
Three people, a female aged 50 and two males aged 43 and 18, were rescued from the property and treated for smoke inhalation.
The blaze was extinguished by 4.30am.
