POLICE raided two Southend towerblocks in search of drugs.
They stormed a flat at Pennine, in Coleman Street, and found a small amount of cannabis at about 9.40am today. A man was given a warning.
A simultaneous raid was carried out at a flat in the nearby Chiltern towerblock.
A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
Insp Leigh Norris, of Southend police, assured residents that if they are given information they will act.
