A SECOND bus travelling along the same stretch of road has been targeted by vandals.
Yobs smashed a window on the Number 9 bus as it was travelling along Western Approaches, Eastwood, two days after another bus was taken off the road after it was pelted with stones.
Arriva’s Number 6 bus was travelling past Scott Park, in Western Approaches, Eastwood, on Tuesday at 6pm when it came under attack causing £1,000 of damage.
Then on Thursday, at about 5.15pm, a stone hit a window next to where a passenger was sitting. The window completely shattered but luckily the passenger was unhurt.
About ten minutes later, in nearby Anders Fall, a resident reported that the window of a Renault Clio has also been smashed but nothing was stolen.
Anyone with information should call PC Wilson on 101.
