TIME is running out for Rochford residents to take part in a budget survey.
The deadline is this Friday for answering a questionnaire which offers the chance to have a say in what Rochford District Council’s priorities should be when it decides its budget for the next 12 months.
The council expects a significant reduction in its funding from the Government in the next few years.
Government funding makes up nearly a third of the council’s income and hundreds of residents have so far had their say.
The questionnaire is available at www.rochford.gov.uk or in the reception areas of the Rochford District Council offices in South Street, Rochford, and the Rayleigh Civic Suite on Hockley Road, Rayleigh, as well as libraries across the district.
