POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash which left a motorcyclist in hospital and the driver of the car failed to stop.
The collision happened when the motorbike and a car struck each other at the junction of Woodgrange Drive and Park Lane, Southend, at about 7pm on Thursday, December 1.
The motorcyclist, a 54-year-old man from Southend, was taken to Southend Hospital after sustaining serious leg injuries.
He is currently in a stable condition.
A police spokesman said: "The other vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
"It is believed to be dark in colour and will have front, passenger-side damage.”
