A GARDEN and DIY store is hosting a charity collection for sick children.
Homebase in Stadium Way, Rayleigh Weir, will be getting into the Christmas spirit this weekend by aiming to raise hundred of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Fundraising volunteers from the trust will be donning Santa hats and tinsel to collect donations in-store. They will also be joined by a volunteer facepainter, who will be doing facepainting in return for a donation.
Last year Homebase chose the trust as its official charity partner until February 2013.
So far the chain has raised £1million for the charity.
