AN iPhone was stolen from a house in Southend, while the homeowner was upstairs with the radio on.
The burglary happened between 10.30am and 10.45am on Tuesday, December 6.
The thief crept into an address in Stromness Road through an unlocked back door and stole a white iPhone 4 worth £600 from the kitchen.
PC Reece Brent said "I cannot emphasise enough how crucial it is to protect and secure your property even when you are at home.”
Anyone who saw suspicious behaviour can call PC Brent at Southend police station on 101.
