ANTI-CAPITALIST protesters have set up a second permanent camp after being ordered to leave a Southend churchyard.
Occupy Southend activists set up tents on the site of the former Toomey car showroom in Priory Crescent yesterday.
Their new location is just metres from Camp Bling where some of the same protestors spent nearly five years before finally leaving in 2009.
Occupy Southend members faced criticism for their first camp at St Mary's Churchyard on Victoria Avenue.
They remained at the site for ten days before finally leaving on Wednesday despite the Chelmsford Diocese giving them a deadline of 3pm Sunday.
