BURGLARS smashed the rear patio doors of a Leigh home and stole the owner's car keys.
They then drove off in the victim's red Vauxhall Astra which was parked on the driveway.
It happened in Eastwood Old Road between 6.45am on Friday, March 2, and 6.45pm on Sunday, March 4.
Jewellery and personal documents were also stolen during the raid.
The car had the index YP58 WDR.
Anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in this area between the stated times – or has any idea where this car travelled after being stolen - is asked to contact the investigating officer, Det Con Luke Dangerfield, at Southend police station, by phoning 101.
