A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed by a gang near Chalkwell railway station.
He was approached by three youths as he walked along the Crossways, Westcliff, towards the station.
Two of the youths kept look-out, while the third grabbed him by his collar and pulled him away from the road. He then searched his pockets and stole £5 cash. The boy was unhurt during the robbery.
It happened at about 3.45pm on Monday, March 5, and police are appealing for witnesses.
The main suspect was of middle Eastern appearance and spoke with a local accent. He had a distinctive wide flat nose and had a moustache at the time of the incident. He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up and a dark beanie hat.
