A MAN was robbed by two men who threatened him with violence if he didn't hand over his wallet.
The 23-year-old victim was walking in Old Southend Road, near the junction with Stanley Road when he was approached by two men who concealed their identity with dark scarves.
The demanded money before making the threats.
The victim then handed over his wallet, containing about £40 cash.
The robbers ran off in the direction of Pleasant Road at about 10.45am on Monday.
The first man is described as white, 6ft tall, and skinny. He was aged in his mid to late 20s with a local accent. He wore a baby blue hooded top with golden lettering across the chest. The hood was up and pulled tightly around his head.
The second man was also white, 5ft 8ins tall, stocky and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood pulled tightly over his head. He also wore dark jeans and black Nike trainers which had a white pattern on them.
