A FOOTBALLER who was partially paralysed after being attacked outside a nightclub has walked using crutches in hospital for the first time.
Billericay Town goalkeeper Nicky Morgan, 26, has come on leaps and bounds in his rehabilitation and has met all the targets set by doctors so far.
Nicky has been walking on a treadmill with support, using a zimmerframe to walk around the hospital gym and also used crutches for an hour on Monday (March 12) at the specialist spinal unit Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Nicky has been told by doctors he will be discharged from the hospital on May 30.
