A 'PROFESSIONAL driver' has been slammed by police after he drove to London to Southend with a badly cracked windscreen.
Essex Police has criticised the driver who drove from the capital to the seafront, before being pulled over by police.
A picture from inside the vehicle shows the extent of the damage.
The driver was fined and issued with points.

A spokesman from the Essex Road Policing Team, said: "The driver of this car claimed to be a professional driver but still chose to drive this evening from London to Southend with his windscreen in this condition.
"Driver reported and issued with points and a fine."
