So we’re being told not to waste water, and look like we’re heading for a hosepipe ban because of the hot weather, and reservoirs are running low, ground is so dry that everything is cracking up.

So if you spot a burst pipe report it straight away, so after spending time pressing buttons on the phone and then explaining exactly where the burst pipe is, I’m told that the leak will be dealt with within a week due to a lack of manpower.
Meanwhile thousands of gallons of water are running down the drain.
