IT was a huge disappointment to be beaten by Plymouth Argyle during the week and after the game we sat down as a group of players to discuss quite a few things.

It wouldn’t be right for me to reveal exactly what was said because what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room but quite a few things did come up.

Despite that, nobody could really get to the bottom of our bad home form or why we struggle against teams fighting against relegation.

But everyone in the squad is extremely frustrated because we needed six points from the last two home games we played and we’ve come up short.

However, there is still plenty to play for when we head to Rochdale at the weekend.

People will be wanting to try and make sure of their place in the starting line-up for the JPT final against Crewe at Wembley and there are others who are out of contract and wanting to impress.

Rochdale are quite an inconsistent side though so you can never be too sure what to expect when you go there.

They have some excellent attacking players in their team and on their day can be a very hard team to take on.

But they’ve also had some poor results this season and we hope to catch them on one of their off days.

Unfortunately, I won’t be making the trip myself after finally having an injection I needed on my knee which I have been struggling with since Christmas.

I had put off having the injection for a number of weeks because I wanted to try and get myself back in to the team.

But after being told I wasn’t going to be involved against Torquay I decided to look at my long term future and decided it was time to finally get it sorted.

I’m now waiting to go and see a specialist and find out where we go from here to try and regain full fitness again.
