STEVE King fired home an 86th minute winner to give Concord their second win of the campaign.

The central defender tapped home from close range after James White’s header had been parried at close range by over-worked Dorchester keeper Alan Walker-Harris.

The visiting keeper had been in inspired form all afternoon to keep the Beachboys at bay, several times thwarting efforts from Sam Higgins.

But for all the hosts’ dominance it looked like Dorchester might steal the points when they were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box with 10 minutes to go.

Ben Watson smashed his spot-kick against the cross-bar, though, and the hosts took full advantage of the reprieve.

One sour note for Concord was an ankle injury for their new recruit Steve Cawley, and a groin injury for winger Reece Harris.
