Eastbourne Borough 0, Concord Rangers 0
CONCORD banked another useful Conference South point with a solid display at Eastbourne.
The football was good but chances were in short supply as defences walked away with the plaudits.
Concord’s best chances all fell to Sam Higgins but he was consistently denied, most notably 20 minutes from the end when Boro keeper Craig Ross got back to block his shot after Sam Collins had given him a clear sight of goal.
Higgins also felt he should have had a penalty with 10 minutes to go following a tackle from behind, but the ref waved away the appeal.
At the other end Paul Goodacre cleared a chance off the line, but neither side could make the breakthrough at Priory Lane.
